🎥 Higher quality video sharing now available

We’ve improved the quality for videos shared while live streaming: under-the-hood optimizations now deliver higher-fidelity visuals when sharing your video content.

This is just the first improvement of our ongoing effort to level up stream quality and make sure what your audience sees and hears is just as detailed and rich as what you're seeing.

More is on the way, so stay tuned!

🎛️ Meet the new People tab (plus smarter tools for managing guests!)

We’ve rolled out a set of improvements to make managing guests smoother and more intuitive. Here’s what’s new:

👥 The new People tab

You’ll now find a dedicated tab in the right sidebar for all things guest-related. From one place, you can:

  • See who’s in the studio—on stage, backstage, or in the greenroom (only Teams plan and up)
  • Access and update guest settings
  • Monitor everyone’s audio levels in real time
  • Adjust each guest’s mic volume for a balanced sound

🎚️ Audio meters, at a glance

We’ve added compact audio meters directly on each guest’s tile in the backstage area. Even if the People tab is closed or you’re working in another tab, you’ll still get clear visual feedback that your audio is coming through nice and clear.

💬 A fresh new look for Private Chat

We’ve also given the Private Chat a fresh new look—cleaner, sleeker, and better aligned with the rest of the studio.

Together, these updates make it easier to stay in control and keep things running smoothly, especially when you’ve got a full house.

Available on all plans.

✨ Flawlessly plan and execute every part of your livestream with Scenes

Before, you needed to add elements (like other guests, screens, presentations, etc) to your stage one-by-one. With Scenes, you can plan how all of the elements will appear in advance. Then, during the livestream, bring everything you need on screen with just one tap.

Easily create and edit scenes from the new dedicated Scenes tab. Use scenes to assign cameras, guests and media, as well as their position and layout. From there, layer on any overlays, banners or video clips to make your livestream even more engaging.

By preparing everything in advance, you can focus on interacting with your co-streamers, guests, and audience during the livestream!

Scenes are available for all StreamYard customers.
