QR codes just got an upgrade. You can now customize them with your brand colors, logo, and text—so it looks like a natural part of your stream.

Make it easier for your audience to take action. No searching for long links or digging through the chat, just show the link on screen and go.

Here’s how it works:

• Go to the Widgets section in your studio
• Click + New QR code
• Add a title and link
• Customize with your logo and brand colors
• Click Create, then Show to display it on screen

Your QR code appears instantly during your stream, and you can hide it anytime.

Whether you’re sharing your website, donation page, or a signup link, it’s a more seamless way to turn viewers into clicks—now in a custom design that fits your stream.

Turn your viewers into participants with built-in Polls. Ask questions, get instant feedback, and keep your audience engaged, all in real time.

Here’s how it works:

• Hit Livestream or go to your Reusable Studio
• Go to Widgets and click + New Poll
• Enter your question and answer options
• Click Create to save it
• Hit Start & Show to display it during your stream
• Watch responses roll in live across all channels

✨Tip: Any Poll you save to your Reusable Studio can be used again and again.

You can now make display names and headlines larger or smaller.

Use different sizes to better match your layout or highlight guest names on screen.

Here’s how it works:

1. Enter your Studio
2. Open the Style section
3. Scroll to Theme
4. Turn on Show Display Names and Show Headlines
5. Choose a Text Size

We’ve refreshed Streamyard’s design, with a brighter color palette, cleaner interface and brand new logo.

The aim of this revamp is to celebrate all the improvements—big and small—that the team has brought to Streamyard in the last year, while staying true to the core simplicity that users love.

What’s changed:

• A brand new Streamyard logo—with a fresh design for Puddles, our beloved duck 🦆
• A more vibrant color palette, doubling down on our signature electric blue
• A more modern font
• Softer buttons and sidebar, with a more friendlier, more polished feel
• A sprinkling of micro-interactions throughout the product (try hovering over the logo 😉)

What hasn’t changed:

We've added a search bar to your Library, so you can instantly find any recording by title.

Here's how it works:

1. Go to your Library from the dashboard
2. Click the search bar at the top
3. Type the name of the recording or clip you're looking for
4. Click on the result to open it

No more scrolling through endless pages — just search and go.

A new element in the left sidebar shows you the generation progress of your AI clips.

You’ll see any ongoing generations, and an instant preview when your clips are done.

Click View below the preview to open your new clips in the Library, where you can edit, download or re-generate them.

One of our engineers rebuilt the video processing behind AI clips, so you can view and share your highlights in a fraction of the time.

AI clips used to take about 28 minutes to generate, but now it takes an average of just 8 and a half minutes—with zero reduction in quality.

To use AI clips, go to your Library, open a recording and click Generate clips.

Tickers already display your custom brand colours and font, but now you can also choose your tickers’ position and scroll speed, so you can shape exactly how your message appears on screen.

To create a new custom ticker:

• Open the Banners tab in the studio
• Click Create a banner
• Select Scroll across (ticker)
• Choose your preferred position and scroll speed

To customize an existing ticker or banner:

• Open the Banners tab in the studio
• Hover over the ticker or banner you want to customize, and click Edit
• Make sure Scroll across (ticker) is selected
• Choose your preferred position and scroll speed

To change the style of your ticker, go to the Style tab and adjust your Brand colour and Theme—your ticker will now reflect the style of your selected brand.

We’ve integrated Youtube’s new monetization API, which lets you adjust your monetization settings for Youtube Live without leaving StreamYard.

Previously, you had to go to Youtube Studio to manage your ads, but now you can do it entirely in StreamYard.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Select Youtube as a destination for your stream
2. In the extended pop up, use the Youtube Live Ads dropdown to select your ad frequency
3. Youtube will display ads on your stream at your chosen frequency

To adjust ad settings in StreamYard, your Youtube account needs to be eligible for monetization. You can learn more about StreamYard and Youtube monetization in our Help Center article.

When a guest joins your studio via the link, they’ll see a welcome page branded with your logo and colours, giving your show a premium first impression.

The title, date and destinations of your streams will automatically appear on your welcome cards—there’s no need to set anything up yourself.

To use them, select Branded welcome for guests in your invite settings.

How to preview your welcome card:

1. In the studio, click the Invite guests button in the toolbar.
2. At the bottom of the pop-up, you’ll see the Your new welcome page section.
3. In that section, click Show me.
   

Note for Reusable Studios users:

If you’re using a reusable studio, your welcome card will display the title of your active stream or recording—not the title of your studio. If you invite a guest to an empty studio (one showing the Create + option in the top right), your welcome card won’t show a title.
